If the capacitor is mechanically damaged or it has through cracks, then repairing the air conditioner radiator in the classical sense is often impossible. Welding aluminum honeycombs under pressure is a technologically complex procedure, and even after it there is no guarantee of the durability of the connection. Therefore, in the vast majority of cases, experts recommend a complete replacement of the unit, and not attempts to restore it.

- Diagnosis and confirmation of malfunction.Before proceeding with disassembly, mechanics check the system for leaks using an electronic detector and a pressure gauge station.
